Pashupatinath Temple – Kathmandu – Daily Photo

This is one of my favorite photos from Nepal. It was taken at Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. I was captivated by his man’s intense stare and I couldn’t help but wonder what his life was like. My guide spoke to him in Nepalese and he shared a story about how he was badly burned when he was a child. You can see the scars on his right arm. He was taken in by a Sadhu (holy man) at a young age and thus his journey began.
