The Bund Prominade - Shanghai, China - Photo

The Promenade along the river in Shanghai in the old area known as the Bund is a popular spot. The Bund was where the Western powers had their banks, clubs and consulates where they strongly influenced the city of Shanghai. Note that these buildings now all fly the red flag of the PRC as a reminder that “these buildings and this city is ours now”.
