Nijo-Jo Castle - Kyoto, Japan - Photo

Nijo-Jo Castle is one of the few remaining castles in Japan. There used to be over 100 castles in Japan but that number is now less than a dozen. This one was built by the Shogun who united Japan. The castle had two concentric rings of fortifications and this is one of the outside towers and the moat.
